
Based in Amman, Jordanian Aviation is an air carrier that operates scheduled and worldwide flights, particularly, in the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa.
Jordan Aviation was founded in 2000 and its operations were initiated in October 2000. It is the first privately owned charter airline. Initially, it operated flights with Amman and Aqaba as destinations, which subsequently included the Gulf region and North Africa, specifically, as of June 2006.
Jordan Aviation is a privately owned company and is registered as one of the official carriers of the United Nations Peacekeeping forces throughout the world
