Afriqiya Airways

Afriqiya Airways was established in April 2001 and initiated services in December 2001. It is based in Tripoli, Libya and operates domestic flights between Tripoli and Benghazi, as well as scheduled services to more than 20 destinations in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The airline's main base is Tripoli International Airport.

Afriqiyah Airways has taken delivery of their first Airbus A330-200 aircraft, becoming a new operator of this aircraft type. The new A330 will seat 230 passengers in a two-class cabin and will serve long-haul operations on routes from Tripoli to Africa and Europe.
