Air Libya

Air Libya was founded in 1996 and operates domestic flights to Benghazi, Ghadames, Kufra, Sabha, Sirte and Tripoli, in support of oil field operations as well as agricultural activities. It also operates international scheduled destinations: El Fasher.

The airline's main base is Tripoli International Airport, with a hub at Benina International Airport, Benghazi.

The Air Libya fleet includes the following aircraft (as of 4 June 2009):

- 1 BAe 146-300
- 2 Boeing 727-200
- 1 Boeing 737-200
- 2 Bombardier Dash 8 (leased from Fly 540 Ltd)
- 1 Fokker 100 (which is operated by EastIndo)
- 5 Yakovlev Yak-40
- 1 Pilatus Porter PC-6
- 1 De Havilland Canada Dash 6 - Twin Otter
