Founded by Calgary entrepreneurs, Jubba Airways initiated services in May 1998 as a privately owned company.
Its operations span destinations such as Mogadishu, Somaliland (Hargeisa), Puntland (Bosaso), and Puntland (Gaalkacyo). The Airline also covers destinations such as Dubai, Sharjah, and Jeddah.
Jubba Airways is headquartered in Dubai under the name of Blue Bell Travels LLC.
