aWestland, a Finmeccanica company, announced Gulf Helicopters of Qatar placed firm orders for fifteen AW189 helicopters. The order follows a preliminary sale contract in early 2012,  the first two aircraft are scheduled delivery in 2014 and remaining helicopters by 2017.  Read More

ISTANBUL - Turkish Airlines released its third quarter consolidated financial statements as reported to Borsa Istanbul (Turkey's Stock Exchange). Compared to the same period of 2012, Turkish Airlines sales revenue increased 28 percent for the third quarter and 26 percent for the nine months reaching a total of over $ 920 million (13.9 billion Turkish Lira - TRY).  Read More
