Tassili Airlines, based in Houari Boumedienne Aiprot (ALG), Tassili Airlines is a passenger airline that provides transport for workers to oil fields in Algeria. There are future plans to add domestic and international scheduled airline services to its operations.
Tassili Airlines was established in 1997 and commenced operations on 8 April 1999 with a flight from Hassi Messaoud to Algiers. Initially it was a joint venture between Air Algerie (49%) and Sonatrach (51%). Sonatrach completed aquiring100% of the company in 2005. (Sonatrach: Société Nationale pour la Recherche, la Production, le Transport, la Transformation, et la Commercialisation des Hydrocarbures s.p.a.)
Tassili Airlines fleet consists of the following aircraft:
