Bahrain Air plans to operate scheduled services to 13 destinations in the Middle East region. Bahrain Air was founded in Bahrain on July 2, 2007 as a shareholding company. It runs scheduled flights serving the Gulf, Middle East, Lebanon, the Indian sub-continent, as well as other regions.

Bahrain Air officially launched operations on February 1, 2008. Privately owned low-cost carrier operating premium low-priced services from Bahrain to 19 destinations in the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.
