KoralBlue Airlines established in January 2006 was owned by Belhassen Trabelsi, Samih Sawiris (Orascom Hotel Development), and Karthago Airlines in a joint-venture investment In 2009 Karthago Airlines was solely acquired by Nouvelair Group and since that date KoralBlue Airlines is affiliated to Nouvelair Group.
KoralBlue operates flights from Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada to eastern and western European destinations. The first flight was launched on 27 March 2007 from Sharm El Sheikh to Katowice and Warsaw airport. The company has started its flight programs to several European airports including Paris CDG; all Italian Airports, Bristol BRS; Dublin and Birmingham BHX in UK and is regularly increasing the routes, productivity and customers.
