Jazeera Airways Release November 2013 Operational Performance Report

Mashhad (Persian: مشهد‎ is the second most populous city in Iran and is the capital of Razavi Khorasan Province. It is located in north east of the country close to the borders of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan. Its population was 2,772,287 at the 2011 population census. It was a major oasis along the ancient Silk Road connecting with Merv in the East.
KUWAIT - Jazeera Airways today released the November 2013 operational performance report, which shows that Kuwaiti low cost carrier has an on-time performance a performance of 95.92 percent, according to US-based operational performance tracker, FlightStats.

The November 2013 report include figures from Kuwait’s Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA),  showing Jeddah, Al Najaf and Mashhad destinations, having an increase in passenger traffic from November last year, mainly for religious tourists.
 
Jazeera Airways saw a 69 percent increase in flown passengers on the Kuwait-Jeddah route in November, compared to the same month last year. The airline has a 13 percent market share on the route in November 2013. 

Flown passengers on the Kuwait-Al Najaf route increased by 83 percent from November last year, the airline has a 66 percent market share this month. 

On the Kuwait-Mashhad route, Jazeera Airways saw a 24 percent increase in flown passengers from November last year. The airline has a market share of 27 percent on the route during the month this year. 

The report also indicate the Kuwait-Amman route in the month of November had a 42 percent market share for the Kuwaiti low cost carrier marking increased by 10 percent from November 2012.

The report also shows Jazeera Airways had a 37 percent on the Kuwait-Beirut route, a 13 percent market share on the Kuwait-Dubai route, a 9 percent market share on the Kuwait-Bahrain route and 11 percent market share on the Kuwait-Riyadh route.

On routes serving Egyptian cities, Jazeera Airways had a 23 percent market share on the Kuwait-Cairo route, a 67 percent market share on the Kuwait-Luxor route, a 48 percent market share on the Kuwait-Assiut route, a 36 percent market share on the Kuwait-Sohag route, and a 16 percent market share on the Kuwait-Alexandria route. 

Flights to the seasonal destinations of Istanbul and Sharm El Sheikh was halted in the first week of November and will resume end of March 2014.
