Jazeera Airways Group Lease two Airbus A320 Aircraft to TAP Portugal

KUWAIT, Jazeera Airways Group announced today, Sahaab Aircraft Leasing, a fully-owned subsidiary placed with TAP Portugal airlines two Airbus A320 aircraft on long-term lease.

Marwan Boodai, Jazeera Airways Group chairman, said: “We welcome TAP Portugal as Sahaab’s fourth international customer and look forward to a long-term relationship with the airline.

“With the recent placement, Sahaab Aircraft Leasing has assets distributed across the globe with A-list customers in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.”

Sahaab Aircraft Leasing launched in October 2008 with Jazeera Airways as its first customer. The leasing company was then fully acquired by Jazeera Airways Group in 2010.

The group (both the airline and leasing subsidiary) has a fleet portfolio of 15 Airbus A320 aircraft, seven operated by Jazeera Airways, four Airbus A320 aircraft with Virgin America since 2010, one Airbus A320 aircraft placed with SriLankan Airlines since 2010, and one aircraft placed with Flynas in 2013.
