BOC Aviation Completes Delivery of 12 Airbus Aircraft to Iberia

BOC Aviation Pte. Ltd. (“BOC Aviation”) a fuly owned subsidiary of Bank of China, announced that Iberia, the Spanish carrier, took delivery of all 12 Airbus aircraft, eight new A330-300 and four new A320 aircraft.

All 12 aircraft were delivered to Iberia between February 2013 and April 2014.

Steven Townend, chief commercial officer, Europe, Americas & Africa of BOC Aviation said: “These transactions demonstrate BOC Aviation’s capacity to support customer needs for large capital volume transactions at all points in the cycle.’’ 

Javier Sánchez-Prieto, chief financial officer of Iberia, added: “As a new customer of BOC Aviation, we have been impressed by their support and the solutions they provided that added financial and operational flexibility to our fleet,” 

BOC Aviation an aircraft leasing company with a portfolio of 241 owned and managed aircraft operated by more than 50 airlines worldwide and another 89 aircraft on firm order. The Company has a fleet with an average owned aircraft age of less than four years.
