JSC IRKUT Corporation, the major Russian aircraft manufacturer released its financial report for 2011 subject to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS).

Annual revenue of JSC IRKUT Corporation for the financial year 2011 amounted to 49.5 billion rubles ($1.54 billion at the rate of the CBR on 12.31.2011), which is 5.3% higher than 2010. Annual revenue of the corporation have increased by 6 times since 2005.

Gross profit of JSC IRKUT Corporation in 2011 amounted to 12.5 billion rubles ($389 million). Gross profit compared to 2010 is lower due to the development of new products and a significant increase of its share in total production volume.

Pretax profit fell slightly by 6.6% and amounted to 1.3 billion rubles ($40.9 million). Net profit of the Corporation amounted to 0.8 billion rubles ($24.5 million).

In 2011 JSC IRKUT Corporation has continued supplying customers with Su-30MKI multirole fighters and kits for its assembly under license, as well as produced and delivered a large lot of Yak-130 new generation combat trainers to a foreign customer.
