Emirates Airlines based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the airline is a subsidiary of the Emirates Group. It is currently the seventh largest airline in the world in terms of international passengers carried, and the fourth largest in terms of international passenger-kilometers flown. It has become the largest airline in the Middle East in terms of revenue and passengers, fleet size, and passengers carried. Emirates Airlines was established in May 1985 by the government of Dubai, and its main base is Dubai International Airport.
