Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC) has awarded ALEC the SP 500 – Concourse 4 project for the construction of additional terminal space and concourse areas comprising an extra 675,000sqm of floor space.

The proejct includes the construction of a new concourse – Concourse 4 – which will be connected to Terminal 1 to facilitate check-in and baggage servicing. ALEC scope of work includes a new concourse building, an APM link to Terminal 1 and alterations/upgrade of Terminal 1. This is equivalent to twice the footprint of London Heathrow Terminal 5.
