Amman, Royal Jordanian announced it flew 240,000 passengers in February2012, marking a 28% increase compared to 188,000 passengers during February 2011. The number of departures and flight hours witnessed an increase of 9.3% and the seat factor increase of 7.5%, achieving an average 70% comparing with 65% during the same month in 2011.

Etihad Airways, is to increase flights to Egypt. Four additional services shall make the carrier operate 18 flights to Cairo each week from June 2012.
