Abu Dhabi International Airport Mark a 22 Per Cent Increase for the Month of April in Passenger Traffic

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) today released the traffic report for Abu Dhabi International Airport during April 2012, marking a 22% growth in passenger traffic over the same period in 2011, with over 1.2 million travellers passing through the U.A.E. capital’s airport. Cargo traffic showing growth, with 45,261 tonnes, an increase of 19% compared to the month of April 2011.

Air France Industries and KLM Engineering & Maintenance to Upgrade Air Europa’s Airbus A330-200 Cabins

Paris, Amstelveen, Air Europa has signed a new contract with Air France Industries and KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) to provide and certify business class sections on two of its Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The modification covers fitting of 18 business class seats, new storage furniture and decorative features, and also involves adapting the IFE to the new aircraft configuration.

Dubai, Emirates Airlines has announced the upgraded of the inflight entertainment system "ICE" (information, communication and entertainment) on-board its Boeing 777 aircraft. All fitted with Panasonic's (Panasonic Avionics Corporation) high definition (HD) personal TV screens: 27-inch for the first class, 20-inch for the business class and 12.1 inch for the economy class.
