Miami, Barfield, a Sabena Technics company, announced securing a contract with TAME, Ecuador’s flag carrier, for the full support of their fleet of three newly delivered ATR42-500.
The services will be provided for a period of five years. TAME, owned by the Ecuadorian government has been undergoing fleet modernization for the past few years, integrating aircraft types such as Airbus A319 and A320, Embraer 170 and 190 and ATR42-500. Their purpose is to offer air transport for people and freight services to various cities in Ecuador as well as in Colombia and Panama.
“This second contract with the Ecuadorian operator reaffirms Barfield’s existing position as a service provider of choice in Latin America,’ said Frederic Denise, Barfield’s Chief Operating Officer.
