Paris, IAMCO (International Aerospace Management Company), the prime contractor responsible for maintaining NATO's fleet of AWACS aircraft, has renewed its component repair contract with Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M).

The long term contract covers repairs, maintenance and special testing of the unique systems equipping the AWACS fleet.

Gaetano Ruscito, Manager of the IAMCO Components Subcontract Management Branch said: "AFI KLM E&M has been maintaining these specific components for many years. Its experience is an asset for NATO,"

Ton Dortmans, KLM E&M Executive VP, commented: "We are very happy to contribute our expertise on these components. We will continue to offer IAMCO our top-quality services and as usual will demonstrate our adaptability and responsiveness in meeting its requirements."
