Amman, Airport International Group (AIG), the consortium managing the rehabilitation, expansion and operation of the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), has announced the selection of “National Company for Car Parking Systems Ltd” (trademark “Mawgif”), as the preferred bidder to provide car parking services at the QAIA’s new terminal.

The process to select a car parking partner commenced in May 2011, and the bidding was open to local and international parking service providers, while AIG did not disclose the value of the contract award.

Kjeld Binger, AIG's chief executive officer said, “With the professional services of Mawgif, we are guaranteeing that visitors and travelers using personal transportation will have a smooth experience.

“With the choice of Mawgif, we are closer to our goal of providing a world-class experience that reflects the advanced nature of the new terminal and the quality of services offered.”
