Dubai, UAE, Emirates have introduced shuttle transfers for its first class and business class passengers. With an investment of over AED 73 million, the service will transport first class and business class customers to and from their departure gates, if a flight arrives or departs away from the terminal at Dubai International airport.

Currently there are 41 transfer shuttles currently in operation – 15 dedicated for first class and 26 for business class.

“We are constantly reviewing every touch point along the journey of our premium class passengers, to find ways we can further enhance their travel experience with Emirates,” said Tony Chandler – vice president – product development and operations improvement, Emirates. “With the addition of the new transfer shuttles, our vision is to extended and interpret the luxury of our on board product in a way that will both delight and exceed the expectations of our discerning customers.”

Emirates’ premium class customers can also use a ‘door to destination’ journey with a chauffeur drive service with over 30 lounges across the Emirates network.
