Manama, Gulf Air announced today the renewal and signing of an "Enterprise Agreement" with Microsoft. Under the terms of the agreement, signed between Samer Majali, Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Air and Tareq Hijazi, Country Manager for Microsoft in the Kingdom of Bahrain and Sultanate of Oman, Gulf Air will gain access to a wide range of Microsoft’s solutions.

Sharjah, Air Arabia, announced today it took delivery of its first A320 aircraft in 2012, bringing the airline's total fleet to 30 aircraft. Air Arabia received nine of the 44 A320 aircraft ordered from Airbus in 2007.The delivery took place at the Airbus facility in Toulouse, France and immediately entered commercial flight service.

Jeddah, Saudi Airlines Cargo announced it will launch a new B747 freighter flight from Saigon, Vietnam, beginning 25 March 2012. In combination with its Hong Kong flights, the service will operate two times per week, thus connecting Vietnam with the Middle East and Frankfurt.
