Corporate Profile: RoyalJet

Established in 2003, RoyalJet is an Abu Dhabi-owned and operated group of companies that has set the global benchmark for the ultra-luxury private aviation sector. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the company is a joint venture between Abu Dhabi Aviation and the Presidential Flight (the royal flight service). RoyalJet does not merely provide transportation; it delivers a “boutique” experience tailored to heads of state, high-net-worth individuals, and corporate leaders.

Strategic Vision and 2026 Innovation
  • Flag-Bearer of Abu Dhabi: RoyalJet acts as a global ambassador for the UAE’s hospitality and sophistication. Its mission is to be the “Global Reference” in premium private aviation, focusing on personalized delight and timeless elegance.
  • Diversified Growth: In 2026, the company continues to expand beyond its core charter business into aircraft management, acquisition consultancy, and specialized medical evacuation (Medevac).
  • International Footprint: Through its subsidiary RoyalJet Bermuda, the group has expanded its operational flexibility, allowing it to manage and operate aircraft with various international registries.
Fleet and Technical Excellence

RoyalJet operates the world’s largest fleet of Boeing Business Jets (BBJ), offering a level of space and luxury that far exceeds traditional private jets:

  1. Boeing Business Jets (BBJ): The backbone of the fleet. These “VVIP Airliners” are configured with master bedrooms, en-suite showers, and large first-class lounges. In late 2025, RoyalJet announced the selection of CFM LEAP-1A engines to power its new fleet of Airbus ACJ320neo aircraft, ensuring its next generation of jets is both fuel-efficient and environmentally conscious.
  2. Long-Range Fleet: For rapid, long-distance travel, the company operates the Bombardier Global 5000/6000/7500 series, capable of flying non-stop from Abu Dhabi to almost any major global capital.
  3. Medevac Capabilities: RoyalJet is a pioneer in “flying ICUs.” Its aircraft can be reconfigured within hours to carry up to four intensive care modules, supported by a highly trained aeromedical team specializing in neonatal and cardiac care.
  4. Connectivity: By 2026, the entire charter fleet is equipped with Ka-Band high-speed Wi-Fi, allowing VVIP guests to stream 4K content and conduct secure video conferences globally.
Award-Winning FBO and Services
  • The VIP Terminal: RoyalJet operates a world-class Fixed Base Operation (FBO) and VIP Terminal at Zayed International Airport (AUH). The facility features the Suhail and Al Thuraya lounges, designed with a focus on privacy, minimalist elegance, and sensory comfort (including custom scents and lighting).
  • Experience Personalization: The “RoyalJet Journey” begins long before takeoff, with customized culinary menus, tailored cabin environments, and end-to-end logistics handled by a dedicated experience team.
