Doha, Qatar Airways has acquired for a value of US$3.2 million a transportable system kit covering a range of aircraft recovery equipment capable of recovering all types of aircraft including the Airbus A380 aircraft . The kit is manufactured by ResQtec, a U.S. based firm with offices in the Netherlands and Malaysia. Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) announced it took delivery of an Airbus A321 aircraft powered by International Aero Engines (IAE) V2500 engines marking the third to be introduced this year. The A321 will serve on the medium-haul routes of the Royal Jordanian Airline's network. The seating configuration is 162 passengers, with 20 business and 142 economy class.
