At its peak, Al Jaber Aviation had one of the most ambitious order books in the private sector, valued at over $1.2 billion.

1. Airbus A318 Elite: AJA was the first company in the UAE to purchase this type. It featured a 19-seat configuration and the range to fly non-stop from Abu Dhabi to London or Moscow.
2. Embraer Lineage 1000: These were the workhorses of their long-range VVIP service, offering roughly 740 sq. ft. of cabin space.
3. Embraer Legacy 600: Used for regional missions, providing a balance between luxury and operational flexibility for shorter Middle Eastern hops.
4. Airbus A380 (Planned): At one point, the group famously expressed interest in the “Flying Palace” A380, though this never materialized into an operational aircraft for the fleet.

2026 Asset Disposition & Legacy

As of January 2026, Al Jaber Aviation remains a defunct entity, but its assets continue to make headlines in the secondary market:

• Remarketing Milestones: On January 7, 2026, it was announced that global consultants ACC Aviation had been appointed to remarket the remaining Embraer Lineage 1000 (Registration A6-AJI) from the Al Jaber fleet.
• Industry Impact: AJA is remembered for being one of the first private entities in Abu Dhabi to challenge the dominance of state-owned flight departments, setting a high bar for interior luxury and technical management that newer operators still reference today.
