Cathay Pacific: Cargo Reservations Sales Officer   

Job Description :

This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong. 

Our dynamic Cargo operations department contributes to the success for Cathay Pacific Airways. An opening now occurs for a Cargo Reservations Sales Officer. With efficient communication and effective flight planning for loading, the successful incumbent will contribute to maximise cargo revenue to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle cargo bookings and conduct effective flight planning
• Handle CUBIC queue for all flights leaving HK
• Process bookings through telephone, fax , Ezycargo and  from company cargo web-site
• Check cargo records, backlogs and arrange protections
• Prepare export cargo planning including load-plans
• Liaison with internal and external parties including cargo agents, sales team and within department
• Handle flight profiling and ensure utilisation on unused space
• Provide support including performance audit on agencies and other administrative duties

Job Requirements :

• HKCEE standard with a pass in English (Syllabus B)
• Minimum 1year of airline operations experience, preferably gained from cargo operations
• PC literacy including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Knowledge with CUBIC and COSAC2 will be an advantage
• Analytical and numerical, preferably with knowledge in RAMIS & Brio Intelligence
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to perform shifts duties
