Your role
You will be responsible for Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) matters on the project.

Your Key Accountabilities

• Ensure compliance with all Saudi Arabian legal and BT & SYS HSE responsibilities and requirements.
• Establishing a safety culture and management control regime for the achievement of a ZERO Accident HSE performance for the life of the Projects.
• Development and Maintenance of Project specific HSE Policy, Goals & Targets, Management system, Plans and Procedures - includes liaison with civil partners, contractors and local authorities etc.
• Control of Contractors for BT scope - includes review and approvals of method statements and participation in coordination meetings.
• Governance - Leadership of HSE standards and behaviours - Includes coordination of HSE committees & performing audits.
• Reporting - Ensuring execution of all Customers, Legal & BT HSE related reporting requirements - includes all investigation and HSE data management requirements.
• HSE Performance - To establish and manage Project specific HSE KPIs in partnership with all Project Team.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in successfully developing, implementing, leading and managing a HSE program within a project environment.
• At least 5 years experience within E&M type projects (installation, test and commissioning on partner construction sites).
• NEBOSH Diploma / Diploma H&S or local Saudi equivalent.
• In depth knowledge of Saudi legal HSE duties.
• Candidates must be fluent in English and additional knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage.
