Aircraft Accessories and Components Company: NDT Technician   

Qualification : Minimum level 2 A.S. N. T in relevant N.D.T method or equivalent. 
 
Experience : 5 Years evaluating and testing of aerospace components. 
 
Responsible to : N. D. T. Supervisor.  
 
Description : Duties and responsibilities 
 
1.  Following procedures and performing operational type tests using specific techniques. 
2.  Setting up and calibration of equipments.. 
3.  Determining appropriate test methods for specific components in accordance with 
applicable documentation. 
4.  Preparing parts for inspection. 
5.  Understanding the scope and limitation of the various NDT methods used. 
6.  Interpreting, reading and evaluating indications with reference to applicable standards. 
7.  Maintaining a good work relationship with both peers and senior staff. 
8.  Ensuring at all times good housekeeping is promoted throughout both the NDT 
department and the company in general. 
9.  Carrying out such further duties as may be required by the Production Manager. 
10. To work in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
