SCOPE OF THE JOB:  

• Technical Services and Continued Airworthiness Management

PRINCIPLE DUTIES:

• Typical duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following since the Job description has little more, but what is listed below is the minimum core duties:

• Adhere to Kuwait DGCA regulations for Continued Airworthiness and all other Engineering related regulations.
•  Evaluate, track, and initiate required action for Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, OEM Service Letters.
• Keep track of mandates issued by the Kuwait DGCA or EASA pertaining to Flight Safety, Airworthiness, and Certification.
• Oversee and Manage the Development of Maintetnce Program and Reliability Program.
• Track and control the Maintenance Program implementation and Reliability Program Implementation.
• Preparation of all Maintenance Task cards and track implementation.
• Manage Concession Process with OEM's, the Quality Dept and Kuwait DGCA.
• Develop repairs and technical solutions in support of the In-Service airplanes.
• Support Maintenance Dept in technical solutions beyond the scope of the OEM's published Maintenance Data.
• Manage Aircraft Deliveries and Re-Deliveries and Heavy Maintetnce Checks.
• Develop Reports, charts, and presentations reflecting performance and progress of the fleet.
• Review and develop work scope for Engine shop visits, Heavy Maintetnce and modification projects.

PERSON SPECIFICATION (EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS,………ETC):

• Holds University  Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Has at least 10 years of experience in Technical Services Engineering, and his experience and 
• Very Familiar and knowledgeable with EASA Part M regulations and Kuwait DGCA regulations related to Continued Airworthiness and Certification requirements.
• Familiarity with Initial Airworthiness (Airworthiness Standards) EASA Part 21, and experience with Design Organization Approval is a plus.
• Experience in Aircraft In-Service support , repair, and modification.
• Knowledge of Supplemental Type Certification Process and DOA process.
• Has at least 4 years of Supervisory experience within Technical Services (Supervisor or Manager levels)
• Project Management Experience (PMP) is a plus.
• Proficiency in English Language is a must.
• Minimum 3 years of Technical Planning and Maintenance Program development experience.
• Reliability Engineering knowledge and report development and tracking.
• Experience with OEM communication and contract development, reviews, and negotiations.
• Knowledge of Engine Trend Monitoring and Engine overhaul and repair process.
