Dolphin Air was incorporated in 1996, is a Dubai based low cost airline and charter operator, its flight operations are based at Dubai International Airport, Dolphin Air is a UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority approved MRO facility located at Sharjah International Airport focusing on airframe inspections, heavy maintenance repair and modifications, for Boeing B737 covering “A” checks, block overhauls, aging aircraft, corrosion repair, component overhaul, freighter conversion and aircraft painting.
Dolphin Air operates charter services to destinations across the Middle East and Pakistan. Dolphin Air is the successor of Flying Dolphin Airlines and Santa Cruz Imperial Airlines* acquiring the assets of the latter and reorganizing the airline commencing its operating as Dolphin Air in 2002. Commenced operations as a cargo and passenger aircraft leasing and charter company and operating a scheduled passenger and cargo flights from Sharjah and Dubai.
