Dubai International Airport Expansion Awarded to Arabtec for a Contract Value of AED 561 Million

Arabtec Construction LLC has received a Letter of Award from Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC) to carry out Dubai International Airport Expansion (Phase 3) Structural Works, Mechanical, Engineering and Plumbing (MEP), Special Airport System (SAS), Finishes and Site works for Terminal 2 expansion in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for AED 561 Million.

The project’s duration is 25 months following the commencement date. Greg Christofides, CEO of Arabtec Construction LLC said: “This project demonstrates Arabtec’s track record in carrying out infrastructure works for Airports where this is the 12th project awarded to Arabtec relating to Civil Aviation Work. Projects completed at Dubai Airport and Dubai World Central included Passenger Terminals, Control Towers, Energy Centers, Maintenance Hangars, Cargo Buildings and fuel storage and distribution. These projects included renovation, expansion, civil works, structural works, MEP, SAS, water drainage and sewerage systems.”
