Bombardier Designate Qatar Executive Line Maintenance Facility for Challenger 300, 604, 605 and Global Family of Business Jets

Abu Dhabi, Bombardier Aerospace today announced the addition of a new Line Maintenance Facility (LMF) in Qatar. Qatar Airways' Corporate Jet Division, Qatar Executive, based at Doha International Airport, has been named LMF for Challenger 300, Challenger 604, Challenger 605 jets and Global business jet.

“Qatar Airways has built a successful business flying and maintaining Bombardier business jets under the Qatar Executive banner and they know our aircraft intimately,” said Éric Martel, President, Bombardier Customer Services & Specialized and Amphibious Aircraft. “Maintenance and repair services are central to a positive ownership experience, and we are extremely pleased to extend our relationship with Qatar Executive to support the growing base of Bombardier customers in the Middle East.”

Established in 2009, Qatar Executive employs a full-time staff of 13 maintenance technicians and their operations take place in a 67,800 sq. ft. (6,300 sq. m.) maintenance hangar. Bombardier network of authorized facilities worldwide stands at 57 locations across 28 countries

In the past two years alone, Bombardier has designated 11 new ASF and LMF designations in locations worldwide, expanded capacity and scope at its first wholly owned service center outside of North America, at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, and announced a new wholly owned facility for business aircraft to be opened in Singapore in 2013
