Saudi Airlines Cargo Company Increase Frequency of Freighter Flights N'Djamena in Chad

Jeddah, Saudi Airlines Cargo Co. has announced it is increasing its freighter services to N’Djamena (Chad) to twice weekly via Jeddah. The airline, which commenced operating to N’Djamena in June 2011, is now introducing a second flight with its Boeing 747Fs.

Amer Abu Obeid, Saudi Airlines Cargo sales director for Middle East, North Africa & Turkey said "The cargo market into Chad is growing from different points in our network.

“The addition of a second frequency will enable us to offer this service to our global network, with a particular focus on European flights connecting to KSA with 19 freighters per week. This second flight into N’Djamena is another step towards achieving Saudi Cargo's ambitious plans to expand its global reach, with eyes on Africa in particular."

Saudi Cargo has already established a presence in the African market, currently flying to Addis Ababa, Johannesburg, Khartoum, Lagos and Nairobi. While the new frequency is scheduled to take effect on 7th May 2012.
