Cargolux Launch Customer of Boeing 747 8F Rejects Scheduled Delivery

Cargolux announced on 17th September 2011 that its Board of Directors took the decision yesterday to reject the first two Boeing 747-8 Freighters that were scheduled for delivery to Cargolux on 19 and 21 September 2011 due to unresolved contractual issues between Boeing and Cargolux in respect of the aircraft.

Passenger Traffic Gets a Boost - Freight Continues to Stagnate

Geneva, The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced traffic results for July 2011 which showed that passenger travel was up 5.9% over July 2010. While Middle East carriers posted a 9.7% increase in demand, outstripping the 8.9% capacity increase. Load factors for the month stood at 81.4%. Read More

ALAFCO to order 30 Airbus A320neo

ALAFCO, the Kuwait-based international Aviation Lease and Finance Company, has signed an agreement for 30 Airbus A320neo aircraft.
