Gulf Air Appoints a New Country Manager for Jordan

Amman, Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has appointed Ghanim Monzer Alsukhon as its new Country Manager for Jordan.

“Amman has remained a thriving route since Gulf Air launched flights in 1976. Its longstanding strategic relevance means that Gulf Air handpicks the most suitable candidate to manage the airline’s operations in the Jordanian market. Ghanim Monzer Alsukhon, with his lengthy involvement in the aviation industry and his past experience with Gulf Air in particular, is the right person to manage this key position” said Karim Makhlouf, Gulf Air’s Chief Commercial Officer.

With over 20 years’ experience and an in-depth, working knowledge of the Jordanian and regional market, Ghanim Monzer Alsukhon covered several management roles within Gulf Air, previously holding the position of Country Manager for Jordan between 2005 and 2007.

Alsukhon commenced his appointment as of 20th December 2011.
