Abu Dhabi Aviation is based in Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) as its main base of operation . Incorporated in 1975, Abu Dhabi Aviation serves oil fields and economic facilities in both the UAE and other Arab states, as well as Spain, Pakistan, and Eritrea. It is the largest commercial helicopter operator in the Middle East.  Also provides a range of other services, including, firefighting, crop dusting, aerial photography, seismic survey, search and rescue and medevac. Helicopter operations commenced in 1976, adding fixed-wing aircraft in 1991.
