Air Algerie
Air Algerie, established in 1947, is the official national carrier of Algeria. Between (1947 and 1974), Air Algerie was the property of the Air France flight. In 1974, the Government of Algeria has made necessary measures, to get the Air Algerie complete independence.Company's main center is located at Houari Boumediene airport.


The company is running international air services crossbar, in 39 destinations, including nearly 28 countries in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia, and the Middle East, as well as local air services offered in 32 Airport, in addition to

providing catering services, and oil exploration and the annual pilgrimage to Mecca.

Number of employees, almost up to: - 9,000.

Ownership: state-owned (100%) through a joint-stock company SPA with a capital of 43.000.000.000 DA
 

Air Algerie has invested 400 million euros in November, and in 2010 covered the entire fleet.
Air Algerie is a member of the airline alliance (SkyTeam), in addition to its alliance with Tunisair.

Recently, Air Algerie has been restructured to separated units: - (maintenance, domestic flights, international flights, and service air freight and travel agents), and as a result included four subsidiary companies, namely: - Air Algerie Technologies, Air Algerie Catering, shipping air for homes and Algeria.
