Midwest EgyptMidwest Airlines is an operator based in Cairo, Egypt, incorporated in 1998, operations commenced June 1999, it operates passenger and charter services throughout the Middle East and beyond, carrying passengers and cargo.

Its main base is Cairo International Airport. In  2009 the company underwent major financial and corporate restructuring with the introduction of  a Boeing 737-600  (on dry lease) carrying out charter flights since August 2009, mainly between Egypt and Europe.

Paris, Amstelveen, Midwest Airlines and Air France Industries and KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) have signed a long term engine support contract for the CFM56-7 engines equipping the Egyptian airline's two 737-800 aircraft.
