Syphax Airlines is a private hybrid airline with its head office on the property of Sfax–Thyna International Airport in Sfax, TunisiaSyphax Airlines is a private limited company, based in Sfax Thyna with a capital of 10 million dinars, Syphax  incorporated in 2011 and after securing the approvals for the local authorities operations start in 2012 as scheduled airline.

Founded by Mohamed Frikha, chief executive offer of TELNET Group.

The consulting firm that conducted Syphax Airlines Business Plan is none other than Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, a leading global provider of consulting for Top Management.

With 45 offices in 34 countries, it operates successfully on all major international markets. The company also benefits from logistical support of TELNET, a group specializing in consultancy in innovation and new technologies and national leader in his core business.

Syphax Airlines has chosen to start with a fleet of two Airbus A319 ordered for a total of $ 55 million (82.5 million dinars) arranged in two classes, with a capacity of 150 seats each, named “Karama” and “Horria”, referring to the revolution that happened in Tunisia during 2011.

In the longer term and depending on the circumstances, special flights could then be organized to other A regional office is based in Tunis, near the airport of Tunis Carthage, the company’s secondary hub.

The Syphax Airlines fleet includes the following aircraft:
