Tassili Airlines,
An Algerian operator, was incorporated in 1998  as partnership between Sonatrach,(Algerian government-owned company formed to exploit the hydrocarbon resources of the country and operates exploration, extraction, transportation and refining of oil wells), holding 51% and between Air Algiers holding 49%.

In 2007 Sonatrach 
acquired the shares of Air Algiers and  became the sole owner.

Tassili Airlines commenced its operations on April 8, 1999,with a flight from Hassi Messaoud in Algeria, it is considered the second air operator in Algeria after Air Algiers.

Tassili Airlines was restructured into three  eparate units at the end of the year 2009, Tasslii Airlines for air transportation of passengers domestic and international, Naft Tassili Airlines for the transport of oil companies personnel based Hassi Messaoud and Tassili Aviation for the agriculture sector based in Teyart - Algeria.

Ownership: 100% state owned corporation (through Sonatrach)
