VANCOUVER - Cathay Pacific flights on June 9 mark the airlines' 20 years flight operations between Toronto and Hong Kong.

On June 9th, 1994 Cathay Pacific started a 3 times weekly B747-400 flights between Toronto and Hong Kong, with a technical stopover in Anchorage.

Over 20 years the airline has increased the number of passenger flights to 10 flights weekly, now non-stop and flown by the Boeing 777-300ER long haul aircraft configured  with business class, premium economy and economy class seatings

The airline also operates 2 times weekly all-freighter cargo service between Toronto and Hong Kong. 

Marking the occasion, Cathay Pacific is offering discounts up to 35 percent off business class and up to 20 percent  off premium economy class airfares.
