Tuesday, 14 February 2012
The Chinese carrier Shenzhen Airlines has selected Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services (LTLS) as their transportation management partner.

The agreement encompasses services such as routine, AOG and dangerous goods transports for the airline's growing fleet, which currently comprises more than 105 medium-haul aircraft. Shenzhen Airlines plans to expand its fleet to 180 passenger aircraft by the end of 2012.

With this collaboration, Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services continues to increase its business in Asia, one of the fastest growing markets for the maintenance and repair of aircraft (MRO).
Just last year, the logistics company opened a branch office in Singapore.

LTLS´ product portfolio covers the entire spectrum of spare parts logistics, from highly specialized engine transports to distribution solutions that are networked around the world. Its offer includes not just extremely rapid, reliable transport processing, but also immediate material procurement and provision, expert storage and distribution, and a worldwide 24-hour service.

The Chinese carrier Shenzhen Airlines is headquartered at Shenzhen Airport. Currently it operates a fleet of more than 105 Airbus A319s and A320s and Boeing 737s. Shenzhen Airlines focuses primarily on national transport of passengers, freight, and postal shipments and is currently China's fifth largest domestic airline. The airline also flies to Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.
