Dubai World Central, Participates in the WETEX 2013 - the 15th Water Technologies, Energy and Environment Exhibition

Dubai World Central, (DWC), will be exhibiting its environment-friendly practices at WETEX 2013, the 15th Water Technologies, Energy and Environment Exhibition, which will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).

The exhibition will take place from 15 to 17 April at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). 

According to Dubai World Central it continues to invest in technologies, methods and strategies to conserve natural resources and protect the environment. And have pointed out that 100 per cent of the sewage generated within DWC is treated, recycled and used for irrigation, fire fighting systems and district cooling plants.  According to DWC, all rainwater is harvested through retention ponds.

At WETEX, where we will be taking part under the theme ‘Dubai World Central Works Green’, exhibition visitors will have an opportunity to get a closer look at our ‘green’ practices and the various technologies adopted at DWC to reduce carbon emissions and contribute to environmental protection. The event will also serve as the perfect platform to share best practices and explore the latest techniques in energy conservation and preservation of natural resources.”
