Etihad Airways announced it will launch a road show covering Chicago, New York and Washington D.C. in the 2014, for the airline's U.S. cabin crew recruitment drive.
The cabin crew recruits will undergo a seven-week training program, conducted at Etihad Airways’ safety and service training facility in Abu Dhabi.
Aubrey Tiedt, Etihad Airways’ vice president guest services, said: “To support the rapid, dynamic expansion of Etihad Airways, we are delighted to host our recruitment drive in the US. We hope to attract individuals with a great passion for guest service and hospitality to join our multinational and multicultural cabin crew team.
“We are proud to have the world’s leading cabin crew within our team, working in a range of roles including flight attendants, in-flight chefs and food and beverage managers. Etihad Airways operates seven premium lounges around the world and one of them is based at Washington Dulles International Airport. More Etihad Airways lounges are planned in the US in 2014,
Etihad Airways operates to Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Los Angeles and Dallas Fort Worth will start in 2014.
More than 200 US nationals currently work for Etihad Airways, including 66 pilots and 27 cabin crew.
