Job Description :- This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong.
- As Cargo Revenue Specialist, Planning & Systems, you will support the team to execute contribution management strategies, formulate and continuously improve contribution management processes, and to enhance CRM staff and system capabilities for optimal contribution maximization. You will also engage in process review on respective cargo projects which involve different stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:Revenue Management Process- Process Review – Assist to devise, document, communicate and fine-tune the revenue management policies and processes on route management
- Performance Measurement – Drive continuous improvement of revenue management practices focus on route management through developing a set of performance measurement parameters in conjunction with Cargo Revenue Planning team
Revenue Management Support
- Training & Development – Enhance route management capabilities of the Revenue Management team through on-the-job coaching and provision of related training courses
- Act as CRMS super user. Develop training materials and conduct training for CRMS users concentrating on best practices and how the user can best benefit from CRMS application
- Decision Support Tools – Develop supporting data and tools in conjunction with Cargo Revenue Planning team to facilitate revenue management decision making
Revenue Management System and Other Cargo System Performance
- Assist the Planning & System team to proactively and systematically measure, analyze and improve the performance of CRMS and its usage by users
- Review and analyze spill and spoil data to identify areas of improvement to maximize contribution
- Recommend best practices that enable best auto-pilot percentage for optimal commercial results. Devise and recommend alert adjustment for effective management while ensuring good forecasting and optimization results
- Design, development, testing, and implementation of the CRMS and ensure the effectiveness of integration with other related systems
- Review, refine and verify system parameters. Assist to develop system maintenance plan. Proactively monitor system to ensure maximum system availability
- Maintain the cargo revenue management systems. Recover the cargo revenue management systems when problem arises during and beyond office hours
- Test new functionalities of systems upon delivery form vendors or IMT
- Participate in developing the next generation Cargo Operation System
Commercial Projects- Take part in other commercial projects as and when required
Job Requirements :- University degree preferably in operation research or related business subjects
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience preferably in Revenue Management, Sales & Distribution and/or Cargo related fields
- Commercial minded with strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Sound planning and organization skills with systematic thought process
- Polished communication and interpersonal skills with experience of working in a multi-cultural environment and interact with people at all levels
- Good command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in spoken Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) would be a definite advantage
- Proficient computer and statistical skills. Good skills in Microsoft Excel, Access and SQL is preferred
