Job Description :
This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as gate keeper for project transition to operation, managing service levels by internal and external service providers, IT system performance and availability
  • Define and govern operations requirements for projects
  • Monitor project transition to operations, ensure operation requirements are fulfilled when project transition to operations
  • Assess the impact of all changes, including release package, on the performance, availability and capacity of all services and resource in meeting operational needs
  • Establish standard requirements and acceptance criteria for project to operation transitions
  • Manage service level agreements with ALL outsourced IT service providers ranging from data centre, IT infrastructure, middleware to application supports
  • Provide governance on service level and service quality provided by IT service providers
  • Identify and drive areas for service improvements both with service providers and internal support teams
  • Manage internal service levels, performance, availability on ALL IT services  to internal business units
  • Publish and communicate regular management reports on service levels, IT service performance and availability
  • Liaise with internal IT account managers with business units on service performance and availability matters
  • Define, govern and enforce standards for system management  and operation requirements for project transition to production environment
  • Act as the escalation point for service support issues
  • Review service levels with external IT service provides in monthly Operation Review Meetings
Job Requirements :
  • At least 6 years experience in IT operation area and managing multiple outsourced service providers
  • Tertiary qualifications essential
  • Experience in project transition to operations
  • Knowledge in system management tools
  • Experience in using Remedy and reporting with Remedy
  • Analytical, attention to details, good reporting skills
  • Able to communicate with technical teams and non-technical account managers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong team player, capable to work in multi teams environment
  • Demonstrate leadership potential, take ownership
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Knowledge in ITIL, ITIL certification is a plus
  • Technical hands on cross IT platform operation experience is a plus
