Job Description:- This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have the right to work in Hong Kong.
- We are seeking a high-calibre individual to join the Cargo Services Team. Your chief mandate is to plan the required quantity and maintain the agreed quality of Aircraft Unit Load Devices (ULD) for CX system-wide operations. In addition, you will support the supplier management programme by maintaining data integrity, reviewing performance and expenditure differences for management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop policies, standards and compliance program of ULD application, logistic flow, handling and maintenance program.
- Prepare demand forecast, annual ULD purchase and maintenance budgets; while ensure all budget variance are justifiably accounted.
- Regular review of business demand, ULD inventory and movement to develop and enhance the ULD tracking system that fulfils operational requirements.
- Conduct supplier management programme to ensure CX’s required specifications are delivered; as well as assisting in supplier selection process for new ULD and equipment.
- Coordinate with relevant departments in setting up ULD repair workshop at outstations.
- Follow up with enquiries related to ULD handling including its associated parts (e.g. tie down strap, spreader board, pallet net).
- Liaise with Interlines for regular ULD transfer administrative activities to protect interest of the airline group.
- Represent the airline group in IATA and industry meeting for ULD related matters.
Job Requirements :- Tertiary education qualifications.
- Minimum 3 years cargo operations experience.
- Good command of spoken and written English. Conversational Cantonese is an advantage.
- Analytical mind with excellent planning and organisational skills
- Strong numeric and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal with the ability to interact with people at all levels and from different cultural background.
- Sound PC knowledge in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Independent & detailed oriented
