Job Purpose
Development/management of the company audit programme to ensure compliance with the requirements of Civil Aviation standards, laws and regulations for which the company is accredited and holds corresponding certificates and approvals
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop annual Quality Audit plan relevant to all aspects of Company approvals
- Continuous assessment of Audit findings to establish areas of Audit findings to establish areas of high risk and provide feedback to the management
- Provide proactive assessment and identification of risks, based on Audits & Surveillance findings
- Coordinate and follow-up with relevant departments to ensure on time and correct closure of Audit findings
- Assign Audits to his Audit team and provide guidance and evaluation of their Auditing performance
- Compile monthly Audit & Surveillance reports to the management
- Participate in relevant Quality & Safety, Management meetings to highlight areas for improvements
- Continuous development of customised Audits & Surveillance checklists based on previous audits, surveillance, investigations, customer feedback, etc.
Qualifications
Aircraft Maintenance license and/or Aeronautical related degree
Knowledge, skills and Experience
- Recognised Audit training, preference for lead auditor training
- Extensive knowledge of relevant Aviation Regulations, Audit Techniques & Quality standards
- Excellent English command, report writing, communication skills and computer literacy
- Minimum 15-year Aircraft Maintenance related experience
- 5-year minimum experience in Aircraft Maintenance Quality Audits, this should include management level experience
