Description/Tasks
- Prepare Project Master Schedule for the contracted scope of work encompassing engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly and certification
- Identify and incorporate schedule interfaces among engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly and certification activities of various products
- Work with each department to optimize activity sequences
- Set up WBS and cost control points
- Work with BU’s to ensure Project Master Schedule is adjusted in accordance with capacity plans
- Conduct critical path and schedule network analysis to highlight potential issues
- Conduct ”What-if” schedule scenario simulations to guide and advise on critical decision making situations
- Ensure planning activities take into account lesson
- Assist in risk analysis activities
- Assess and, if necessary, challenge BoE’s (Basis Of Estimate) and estimates
Qualification/Experience
- Good understanding of project planning concepts and methodologies
- Good understanding of ERP and MRP systems
- Experienced in use of project scheduling software
- Proficiency in handling all critical application features of scheduling software e.g. WBS, resource management, schedule network analysis, critical path, progress measurement etc
- Experience in WBS construction
- Experience in schedule network analysis and critical path analysis
- Experience in task estimation calculation techniques
- Ability to think strategically and plan long term
- University degree in relevant discipline (Engineering, Business Administration etc.) or other higher education with significant relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years professional experience
- Proactive in finding solutions, strategic thinking capability
- Able to form effective working relationships in order to obtain required information
- Strong analytical skills and an efficient approach of working
- Excellent English skills, German and/or French are an advantage
