Description/Tasks- Perform minor and major repairs on aircraft soft materials (seats, divan …..) by following JBSL procedures under supervision and recommendation of shop Certifying Staff Member (CSM)
- Strip, clean and recover soft goods as headliner, window panel, decorative panel under supervision and recommendation of shop CSM
- Cutting, sewing and installing seat covers, foam build up and various assemblies under supervision and recommendation of shop CSM
- Able to cut, adjust and fit a carpet for installation in cabin under supervision and recommendation of shop CSM
- Clean and maintain work area by 5S and good housekeeping standards
- Maintain tools, use equipment and machines IAW internal regulation
- Follow and apply health and safety regulations
- Working as a part of a team under the advice of the superior
Qualification/Experience- Acquisition of all levels of tasks as an upholsterer apprentice
- At least 1 year experience after education as upholsterer in a none aircraft industry
- Preferred experience in VIP environment as aircraft, boat, leather furnishing
- Able to read and interpret technical drawing
- General knowledge on diverse professional activity
- Upholsterer apprenticeship completed with appropriate educational qualification
- Basic level of computer skill
- English speak and read
