To help achieve our objectives and to cope with our rapid fleet and business expansion, we are now looking for a high calibre professional to join our renowned Hong Kong based Engineering Team.
  • Our Technical Record and Data Team manages the aircraft documents for Cathay Pacific, Dragonair and Air Hong Kong as well as its data storage & update in particular of accuracy & completeness. We also support technical records related requirements for regulatory, audit, compliance and aircraft disposal purposes.  This is a challenging role that offers good career development opportunities.
Reporting to our Technical Records Manager, the successful appointee will be accountable for the followings:

Key Responsibilities :
  • Manage and conduct audit to ensure aircraft and component usage data accuracy such as Time Since New and Cycle Since New
  • Support records and data retrieval for regulatory, audit and aircraft disposal with various engineering sections
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in technical records and traceability documents by working closely with the Aircraft Projects Team (Aircrafts Retirement)
  • Resolve data discrepancies between ULTRAMAIN configuration status and hard copy documents for serialized components, hard time components and Life-limited Parts lists
  • Investigate and resolve exceptional data discrepancy
  • Ensure technical records related business processes are robust, investigate and drive changes to mitigate discrepancies identified
  • Assist Technical Records Manager in crisis investigation and recovery activities
  • Support aircraft induction data and records verification, population and storage
  • Collect and review Airworthiness Directives compliance records against Airworthiness Directives status listing provided by Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with contractual return conditions
  • Verify and ensure that all life limited parts are correctly setup in accordance with Component Acceptance Data Standards
  • Responsible for fleet record management including missing slot verification, Engine and Landing Gear build up, Record Receipt Action Desk (exceptional handling)
  • Accountable for Engine / sub-assembly build co-ordination with Xiamen Tech Records Team
  • Manage monthly operation reports and follow-up actions
Job Requirements :
  • Degree in Engineering/Aerospace discipline or holder of Aircraft Maintenance License or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft engineering desirable with 3 years in maintenance, record & compliance requirement
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
  • Polished interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Self initiated and good team player
  • Strong problem solving skills with attention to details and quality
  • Flexible and willing to work irregular hours at peak times of project activity
  • Willingness to work with different cultures and adapt to varying working conditions
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
